Answer... 1. The "Marker" is shown in the GREEN circle. It is a black line that runs down BOTH sides of the stomach. Sometimes it is a short line and sometimes it will run all the way up the snakes body.
2. The stomach between these black lines is completely clear. This is shown with the RED circle. This animal is also a ringer which you can see the orange color on the stomach.
3. This is the same snake as #2 but here i am showing the Black "Marker" Lines in GREEN
4. Again, this is the other side of the same snake. "Marker" line shown in the GREEN circle.
5. This is the same snake as #1, showing the "Marker" trait in the GREEN circle.
There are many more variations and degrees of striping but it follows the same rules. 1. Black striping down BOTH sides I will say again that there has been no definitive proof that this is indeed a way to pick out Het Piebalds.
